Recognizing the Signs

Identifying dyslexia in a child involves recognizing certain signs and seeking professional evaluation. Common indicators may include difficulties with reading, such as frequent letter reversals, slow and inaccurate reading, or difficulty decoding words. Spelling and writing may also be problematic, with frequent errors in spelling and grammar. Children with dyslexia may also struggle with rhyming and phonemic awareness tasks.
